The Mat Yoga’s 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training will help you transform yourself mentally and physically.

•This program will run from April 12 through August 30th 2019

•The training is led by Instructor/Studio Owner’s Nic Pacaro (E-RYT 200 and YACEP certified) and Jessica Pacaro (E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and YACEP certified) of The Mat Yoga in Saratoga Springs. Nic and Jessica are the creators of The Mindpose Method of yoga teaching, and are certified through Yoga Alliance as one of the only YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) schools in the state of Utah for teachers seeking additional accredited hours to maintain licensing.

•Training will meet EVERY OTHER WEEKEND Friday’s 6pm-9pm/Saturday’s 9am – 5pm

•Schedule will vary occasionally to accommodate events and guest lecturers for the training*

•Each trainee will be required to participate in two additional yoga class each week at The Mat Yoga in Saratoga Springs, Utah

•Additional weekly homework is required

•The cost of the training includes an unlimited membership at The Mat Yoga with 2 guest passes per month for classes for the duration of the training.

  • How to implement relaxation and stress-reducing techniques such as breathwork and meditation
  • How to build a loyal following of students and teach a dynamic range of classes

 

  • The qualities of effectively teaching with inspiration and motivation to all fitness levels

 

  • How to effectively use props such as blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to assist students in and out of postures

 

  • Yoga Philosophy

 

  • How to sequence to music
  • The Business of Yoga: How to be successful with your passion

 

  • The principles of demonstrating during class

 

  • How to read alignment and safely cue your students and assist them with hands-on adjustments

 

  • Anatomy and alignment to avoid injury and ensure safety

 

  • Ethics for yoga teachers

This training meets Yoga Alliance criteria to become a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Graduation is not guaranteed and is decided based on participation, attendance, completion of homework assignments and final examination.

Payment Policy

A $799 Deposit fee to reserve your spot in the training is required at time of booking Remaining balance due 30 days prior to training start date; must be paid in full before attending first class session  (please note, early bird or ANY discounted enrollments are pay in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise noted in offer) .  All payments made via phone 801.874.5180 or in person at The Mat Yoga –1950 N Hillcrest Road Saratoga Springs UT 84045.

 

Cancellation Fee

 Initial deposit is non-refundable if cancelled prior to start date.  Discounted pay in full tuition is non-refundable.  If for any reason the training must be canceled by the lead instructors prior to the start date 100% of your deposits will be refunded in the method they were paid.
